Thirty Years of Caring Like Family

Choosing a care home for your loved one is one of the most important decisions you'll ever make. At Bless To The Max, Inc., we've spent 30 years earning the trust of families across Georgia — one resident, one family, one day at a time.

Our Story

Bless To The Max began in 1996 in Decatur, Georgia, with a simple but powerful vision: every senior and disabled adult deserves a loving home, not just a facility.

Our founder, Fern Williams, came to America from Jamaica at just 17 years old with a suitcase holding three pieces of clothing and a heart full of faith. What she built from that humble beginning is nothing short of extraordinary — a care home company rooted in compassion, dignity, and the belief that every human being matters.

In 2003, we planted deeper roots in Wilkinson County, where we continue to serve families from our Gordon and McIntyre, Georgia locations.

Why Families Choose Us

Every Room Is Private — Always. When we designed our facilities, we made a deliberate choice: every single room is completely private, regardless of income. No sharing. No exceptions. Because every human being deserves a space that is exclusively theirs. This one decision keeps conflict down and gives every resident true peace of mind.

Family-Owned, Not Corporate. We're not a chain. We're a family. Fern founded this company, and her daughter Renee serves as CEO. When you entrust us with your loved one, you're trusting people whose names are on the door — people who treat your family like their own.

We Celebrate Every Life. Every birthday is celebrated — because everyone deserves to feel special. Family is always welcome to share a meal. Once a month, we take residents to their favorite restaurant. These aren't extras. This is just how we do things.

Care That Goes Beyond. From 24-hour supervision with modern safety technology, to day programs like River's Edge for mental health support, to volunteer opportunities in our food ministry — we see the whole person, not just a resident.

A Safe Haven for Mental Health

At the heart of what we do is mental health care. We are making a real difference in the mental health community — providing a stable, caring home where residents are supported, understood, and treated with dignity every single day.

We currently serve male residents, and we take great pride in that. In a society where one-to-one care is often geared more toward women, men are frequently underserved. We saw that gap — and we chose to fill it.

Being a male-focused facility also keeps things calmer. It reduces confusion and creates a more peaceful environment where every resident can truly thrive. While each of our facilities is equipped to serve either men or women, our primary calling right now is caring for males with mental health needs — and we do it with excellence.

The proof is in our residents. We have had residents with us for 15 years — men who arrived struggling to stay mentally stable, and who have remained stable for a decade and a half under our care. That's the difference a loving, consistent home makes.

Healthcare comes to them. A physician visits our facility every month, so residents don't have to leave the comfort of home for routine doctor visits. For those who struggle with anxiety, this makes all the difference — quality medical care, right where they live.

Our Motto

Working to make a difference in seniors' and disabled adults' lives.

This isn't just something we say. It's what we do — every single day, for 30 years and counting.
